Qualification for HSST Computer Science
It is a big ‘YES‘ if you have the following qualifications for the HSST computer science exam.
1. Age Requirement: The candidate should be aged between 20 – 40 – That is, the candidates must be born between the period 02/01/1977 and 01/01/1997 (both dates are included)
2. Educational Requirement: Master’s in Engineering Or Technology in the concerned subjects that are either:-
a) M.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology or Software Engineering with a minimum of 50% mark from a renowned university.
b) Masters in Computer Application (MCA) or Masters in Computer Science or Information Technology from a renowned university with a minimum 50% mark.
However, in the case of the absence of qualified Mtech or Masters degree holders, graduates with the below-mentioned degree are eligible to get hold of the position as a Higher Secondary School teacher for the Computer Science department. So yes, graduates with the below-mentioned degree can also apply for the exam.
1. Bachelor in Computer Science or Information Technology.
2. Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Application after completing Btech or Bachelor of Engineering.
3. Mtech in Electronics and Telecommunication or Electronics from an accredited university.
4. B. Sc in Computer science with Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application.
5. Master’s degree in Mathematics or Physics along with Postgraduate degree in Computer Application.
6. MSC Statics and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application.
PS: Your marks should not be less than 50% and the degree you acquired should be from a recognizable university/Lal Bahadur Sastri Centre for Science and Technology/ Institute of Human Resource Development or Department of Electronics with A level accreditation.
